NATURES IMAGE is a Design Build Landscape Company providing full outdoor services including all facets of softscape, hardscape, irrigation, landscape, lighting and more. We are in search of a Chemical Applicator/Lawn Technician/Assistant Maintenance Supervisor
JOB DUTIES/REQUIREMENTS:
- Certified Chemical Applicator License in the State of Missouri
- Apply fertilizers, herbicides. Pesticides, and fungicides on commercial and residential properties
- Calibrate sprayers and spreaders. Ability to mix chemicals and fertilizers according to formulas.
- Ability to identify weeds, pest, fungus and apply correct treatment
- Ability to identify turf problems and apply necessary chemicals to correct
- Comply with the Department of Agriculture Lawns and Regulations regarding the use of pesticides as outlined in the general turf and right of way categories.
- Complete required paperwork and reports
- Detail oriented person with good communications skills
- Assist Maintenance Supervisor in job visits and site inspections
- Assist in light landscape installations and irrigation repairs on existing maintenance jobs
- Assist in small amount of greenhouse growing and maintenance operations.
QUALIFICATIONS & EXPERIENCE:
- Minimum 2 years experience in lawn and ornamental plant chemical applications
- Basic math skills and conversions required to measure, mix, and apply proper amounts of liquids and granular products
- Valid Driver’s License with clean driving record
- Able to lift 50 lbs and walk long distances
- Clean and maintain truck, equipment on a daily base
- Knowledge of sprayers, spreaders, and ability to calibrate all equipment
- Must to detail oriented with all chemicals applications and a detailed record keeping individual
- Must have a Certified Chemical Applicators License in the State of Missouri
