Natures Image Landscape Contractor’s is a Landscape Design/Build Company in Nixa, Missouri serving the SW Missouri area for over 35 years. We currently have a job opening for a Landscape Architect/Designer.
General Summary: Desire to work with a Landscape Design/Build Company in the creation and implementation of aspects of Landscape Design, Sales, and Installation.
Responsibilities:
- Create presentation drawings that include both soft and hardscape elements with construction details
- Communicate with clients and installation crews
- Site work assist with field measurements, as-built drawings, and elevations
- Ability to design with CAD or stand along CAD software
- Assist in locating plants and Hardscape materials
- Site layout for installation crews
- Preparation of proposals, estimates, and client correspondence
- Ability to do plan take-offs on other landscape designs that the company may be bidding on
- Established files, photographs, reference materials for client’s presentation folders
Skills and Educational Requirements:
- 1-3 years of Landscape Design experience
- Irrigation Design experience
- Minimum of an associate’s degree in Landscape Architecture or horticulture. Bachelor’s degree a plus.
- Experienced using CAD, Dynascape, Pro Landscape, or equal design software.
- Able to conduct a thorough site analysis Able to analyze drainage and grading requirements
- Valid Driver’s License and must be insurable on company’s insurance policy
- Good oral and written communication skills.
- Good MS word and MS Excel skills.
- Self-motivated problem solver
